Obituary

RobinSue Allhiser Schneider, 75, of Shawano, Wisconsin passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024 surrounded by the love of her family.  She was born in Shawano, Wisconsin on February 17, 1949, the daughter of the late Henry and Doris (Strauss) Allhiser.  RobinSue pursued a career in nursing during and directly after high school, graduating in 1969 from Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, Wisconsin as an Operating Room Technician.  She worked for Theda Clark in Neenah, Wisconsin for seven years.  In September 1973, she married Wilfried Schneider (deceased 2011) and had three children. With the birth of her first child, she chose to focus on her role as a devoted stay at home mother.  She later went back to work at Clayton elementary school in Neenah, where her children attended, holding a variety of support roles.

In retirement, RobinSue moved back into her childhood home and long-time family farm in Shawano, Wisconsin. She loved to be outdoors and could be found mowing the expansive lawn, working in the gardens, both vegetable and flower, and riding "down the lane" to check on the family property.  She loved to sit in the sun and soak up its warmth and listen to the sounds of nature around her.  She was an animal lover, having several dogs and cats over her lifetime that filled her days with joy.  She enjoyed "cousin's day" where once a month a small group of the cousins she grew up with met for lunch and caught up on each other's lives.  She enjoyed playing cards and frequently won every hand she played.  She was a member of Divine Savior Lutheran Church in Shawano, Wisconsin where she helped in the office and the food pantry.  RobinSue enjoyed life to its fullest whenever possible.

She is survived by her three children, Melissa (Seth) Hower, Heidi Ann Schneider, and Michael Paul Schneider, as well as several cousins.

Those who knew RobinSue were blessed by her compassionate and caring nature.  Her impact on their lives will forever dwell in their hearts.

RobinSue has chosen to be cremated and there will be a committal service at Lake Drive Cemetery in the Town of Wescott.  A date has not yet been determined.

In leu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to the Divine Savior food bank located at 102 Northridge Drive, Shawano, WI 54166.
