Rodger M. Ponfil, Sr., age 76 of Green Bay, formerly of Neopit, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012 in Green Bay. Born on January 13, 1936 in Keshena, he was the son of the late John and Florence (Miller) Ponfil. Rodger had lived in Green Bay for the past two years but lived most of his life in Neopit. After his honorable discharge from service, Rodger worked as a Diesel Mechanic for Packer City International Trucks and married the former Darlene Wayka. He was a kind man who had many friends. He also enjoyed being in the woods, listening to country/western music, NASCAR and baseball.
