Rogean L. Ehlert, age 93 of Shawano, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020. Rogean was born on January 27, 1927 to the late Gustav and Adelia (Schultz) Berndt in Embarrass. On May 20, 1950, Rogean was united in marriage to Lloyd George Ehlert, they made their home together in Shawano. Lloyd preceded Rogean in death on July 21, 2009. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church of Shawano. Rogean enjoyed outdoor activities by gardening and camping. She was a homemaker all of her life taking care of her family. Rogean loved her family dearly, especially enjoying the time that she spent with her grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by all of those who knew and loved her.

Rogean is survived by her sons, Bruce Ehlert of Anderson, SC, Larry (Carol) Ehlert of Antigo, WI, and Richard Ehlert of Shawano, WI; grandchildren, Daniel (Beth) Ehlert, Mirjam (Mark) Breazeale, Rebekah Ehlert, and Joshua Ehlert; and four great-grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and siblings, Carl Berndt, Vera Smith, Myra Vomastic, Betty Nolandberg, Evelyn Schmidt and Beatrice in infancy.

Funeral services for Rogean will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano with Rev. Steven Schauder officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday at church from 10:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. James Lutheran Church.
