Roger H. Behling, age 73 of Shawano, died on Monday, January 12, 2015 at his home. Roger was born on January 1, 1942 in Marshfield, the son of the late Robert W. and Thea N. (Martins) Behling. Roger grew up in Marshfield before moving to Fremont, Nebraska, where he raised his children. He eventually moved to Rice Lake, WI, where he owned and operated a snack and candy route business. In his later years, he lived in Fond Du Lac before settling in the Shawano area 4 years ago. Roger enjoyed all sports, but especially loved the Badgers and Packers. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Roger is survived by his children, Roger (Lynn) Behling of Delafield and Tammy (John) Ryan of Mauston, 4 grandchildren, Adam Ryan, Maise Ryan, Andrew Behling and Emily Behling. He is further survived by his sisters, Barbara (Ray) McCardle of Wenatchee, WA and Roberta (Roy) Mohr of Lincoln, NE as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Roger was preceded in death by his parents. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Oconto, WI.
