Roger 'Teeko' Waukau, Jr., age 60 of Shawano, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, August 30, 2018. Born on August 1, 1958 in Keshena, he is the son of Diana (Cox) Waukau and the late Roger Waukau, Sr.  Teeko worked at Menominee Tribal Enterprises, as a Timber Harvest Administrator Forester, for over 40 years.  Roger enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and duck hunting.  He was an avid Packer and Brewer fan.  He had a passion for listening to classic rock.  Teeko's life revolved around his family and grandchildren.  He spent a lot of time attending his nephews sporting events.  On the weekends, he loved nothing more than having his grandchildren over.  His favorite thing to do with them was to take them fishing.  He enjoyed teaching them about all the different kinds of fish and lures.  He was talented at tying flies for trout fishing.  Roger is a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit.

Teeko is survived by: his children, Josh (Jennifer Stubbe) Waukau and Jessica (Kyle) VanDerLinden; grandchildren, Braxton and Arabella VanDerLinden and Josh and Jennifer have a baby on the way; his mom, Diana Waukau; two brothers, Ron (Beth) Waukau and Reynold (Amy Gansen) Waukau; one sister, Jacqueline (Dan) Pubanz; several special nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Roger Waukau, Sr.

Funeral services for Roger will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at St. Anthony Catholic Church Rev. Joel Jores officiating. Visitation will be at the Neopit Community Center from 4:00 pm on Sunday, September 2, 2018 until the time of the service.
