Roger Paul Mueller, age 72 of Cecil, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021. Roger was born on December 13, 1948, to the late Carl and Adeline (Nischke) Mueller in Shawano.  After high school Roger enlisted in the United States Army served during the Vietnam war. Roger worked much of his life as a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry. Later on in life he became a  full-time farmer until his retirement.   Roger enjoyed spending time with his children Ryan and Kari and his grandchildren Kody and Kayla.  In Roger's free time he enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing with his dogs and trusty companions Kas and Ody. He also loved watching the stock car races and rooting on his favorite drivers.

Roger is survived by his children, Ryan Mueller, and Kari Schroeder; grandchildren, Kody, and Kayla; siblings, Betty DeKelver, Robert (Luanne) Mueller, Bev (Richard) Schoepke, Barb (Jerry) Weisnicht and Ron (Lori) Mueller. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Roger is preceded in death by his parents, Carl Mueller, and Adeline Mueller; brother-in-law Gene DeKelver and nephew Todd Nygaard.

A funeral service for Roger will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at the Swedberg Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel with Mr. Richard Menning officiating with Military Rites by the Bonduel American Legion Post 217. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. till the time of service.
