Roger J. Tyrrell's Obituary
Roger J. Tyrrell, age 83, of Shawano, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 in Shawano.
Roger was born in Pound on March 19, 1933, the son of the late Joseph and Gertrude L. (Huss) Tyrrell.
He graduated from Shiocton High School and then attended St. Norbert College.
Along with his family, he owned and operated Tyrrell Rainbow Bar in Thornton.
Roger is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano.
Roger is survived by: three sisters, Lois Schwartz of Sobieski, Germaine (Alvin) Fetterly of Lena, and Barbara Tyrrell of Appleton as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; two sisters, Doris Urbanek and JoAnn Tyrell and two nephews, Scott and George.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano with Rev. Luke Ferris officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano from Noon on Friday until the procession leaves for the church.
