Ronald E. Brown, age 79, of Shawano, formerly of California, passed away on July 9, 2015. Ronald was born on September 13, 1935 in Parsons, KS. to the late Harry and Darlene (Rahm) Brown. Ronald was united in marriage on March 6, 1959 to Beverly Reasfsnyder in Garden Grove, CA. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed doing carpentry and owned and operated his own construction business. Ron liked to be on the computer searching the web for his old friends, but most of all loved spending time with his family. Besides Beverly, his wife of 56 years, Ronald is survived by their son, Chris (Colleen Vorpahl) Brown; their daughter, Tammy (Jay) Brandt; three grandchildren, Wyatt and Austin Brandt and Marissa (Trent) Peltier; one great grandchild, Jaxon. He is further survived by one brother, Dewayne (Marilyn) Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Harry Don and Johnny Mac Brown. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Richard Menning officiating.
