Ronald Lee "Bee" Burr, age 52, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2013 in Glennallen, AK. Born on October 15, 1960 in Clintonville, he was the son of the late Louis and AnnaMae (Wedde) Burr. Bee was born a member of the Stockbridge Munsee band of the Mohicans and was raised in Morgan Siding. After graduating from Gresham High School, he proudly served his country with the United States Army. His love for the outdoors led him to the great state of Alaska where he wasn't afraid to take on the raging Copper River or to live capture and collar a caribou while on the job with the Alaskan Department of Fish and Game. Bee was loved by many in the Copper River Valley and was always willing to lend a helping hand. His sense of humor and friendship will be deeply missed by his friends "up North" and his loved ones all over the country. Many will remember his famous saying, "Life is just a business deal with God!" Bee is survived by: 3 sons, Wesley Burr, Joe Wheeler, Chris Fingal; a daughter, Stormy Dodge; 4 grandchildren, Wylee, Bertina, Kyson and Torunn Dodge; his brother, Wayne Burr; a sister, Janell Burr; and a very large extended family. Bee was preceded in death by: his wife, Teri; his parents; and a sister, Jackie Burr.
