Ronald Gyrone White, age 60, of Pulaski, transitioned into eternal life on Friday, April 12, 2019, following a courageous battle from Sarcoidosis and Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. Ron was born on January 7, 1959, in Laurens County, Georgia. He was one of nine children born to the union of the late Deacon Johnnie and Mildred Elizabeth (Davis) White, Sr. Ron was united in marriage to Clare Elaine Kallies on April 27, 2000, in Green Bay.
Family members and friends called him Ronnie or Ron. At an early age, he became a member of Laurens Hill Baptist Church, Georgia. Ron later became a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Pulaski. Ron proudly enlisted in the United States Marines and served for over 11 years. He worked at Paper Converting Machine Company in Green Bay for over 25 years.
Ron had many pastimes, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He was known to wear camouflage in his wardrobe and always had a hat on. His friends and family knew him best for being a very likable person, down to earth and his sense of humor.
Ron is survived by: his wife, Clare; children, Amy (Eric) Thomas, Tracy (Holly) Bahr and Stephan (Joyce) White; grandchildren, Ryan, Joshua, Nathan, Ryker, Miranda, Tristain, Kass, Jerald and Emma; five great grandchildren; siblings, James (Lucille) White, Annie Martin, Opal (Wille) Wilmore, Sr., Velma White, Johnny (Patricia) White, Kimberly Taylor and Willie White; Sisters and Brothers-in-law, Dorothy White, MaeLene White, Ethel Wilmore, Marilyn (Neil) Koepke, Patricia (Ken) Updegraff and Elmer (Linda) Kallies, Jr.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Bennie, Marshall and Milton; one sister-in-law, Carol; and four brothers-in-law, Wesley, Kenneth, Dale and Curtis.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church - Pulaski with Rev. Larry Yaw officiating. Military rights will be conducted after services. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel and again at the church on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from 10 a.m. until time of services. Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.
