Ronnie Lee Malueg, age 77, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023, in Shawano. Ronnie was born on December 8, 1945, to the late Earl and Arlene (Flauger) Malueg in Antigo, Wisconsin. On November 23, 1967, Ronnie was united in marriage to Helene "Cookie" Curtis, the love of his life, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the Town of Morris. Ronnie worked at Seagrave for over 30 years and was the former owner of Hidden Valley Supper Club in Caroline. In his free time Ronnie enjoyed being outdoors.  He loved hunting, fishing, and playing baseball and softball. He was an avid gardener and kept an immaculate vegetable garden.  He probably enjoyed sharing his produce more than eating it. Ronnie was a proud former member of the Town of Grant Fire Department and the Caroline Lions. A wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather will be deeply missed by those he leaves behind.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 55 years, Helene "Cookie"; three daughters, Vicki (Rod) Riska, Brenda (Pete) Kempen and Crystal (Kurt) Schwan; seven grandchildren, Stephanie (Ryan) Alban, Courtney (Tyler) Sekel, Austin (Meghan) Riska, Brianna (Fiancé Sean Moe) Kempen, Allison (Fiancé Andrew Encinas) Kempen, Garret Poole and Gracie Poole; and six great-grandchildren, Addalyn, Paxton, Vivian, Franklin, Vander and Ivory. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Arlene and siblings, Evon, Cal, Margie, Diann and Tom.

A memorial service for Ronnie will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Zion Lutheran Church in Caroline with Rev. James Folz officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Town of Grant Fire Department.
