Rose Ann Borowski, age 81, of Cecil, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Green Bay. Rose Ann was born on August 6, 1938, in Cecil, to Max and Sophie (Wasielewski) Borowski. She graduated from Bonduel High School. Rose Ann went on to further her education at the Outagamie County Teachers College and then University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a Masters of Arts Degree in Library Science. She taught for 29 ½ years in Bonduel, Green Bay, Chicago, and Chilton. Rose Ann belonged to St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Cecil and more recently Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano. She was an active member the Council of Catholic Women and the Secular Franciscan Order.

Rose is survived by: her sister, Elizabeth "Betty" (Jim) Grover of Oshkosh; her brother, Clem Borowski of Cecil; eight nieces and nephews and eleven great-nieces and nephews. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister-in-law, Nancy Borowski.

A funeral mass will be held for Rose at 11:00 am on Friday, December 27, 2019 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church with Fr. Scott Valentyn officiating. Entombment will be in Sacred Heart Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Friday at church from 9:30 am until the time of service.
