Rose C. "Ducky" Cantrell, age 78, started her journey Sunday October 5, 2025, in Keshena. She was born on July 16, 1947, to the late Joseph and Susan (Dodge) Summers. Her hobbies include doing puzzles, baking, riding in the woods and playing scratch-offs.

Rose is survived by one son, Michael Cantrell III; siblings, Josephine Gladue, Louetta Fowler, Lorraine Barnes, Steven Summers, Richard Summers, Jerri Summers and Charlie Summers; grandchildren, Michael, Corey and Rose; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Dayani and Kyrie; special sister, Deborah Lyons; special nieces, the Nacotee girls and the Gladue girls; and special daughter-in-law, Peggy Miller. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Rose is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Susan Summers; and siblings, Rodger, Sharon, Shirley, Harriet "Unca", Butch and Gloria.

A family service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday October 8, 2025, at the Fr. David Barrett Hall at St. Michael Catholic Church in Keshena. Visitation will begin on Tuesday October 7, 2025, at the Fr. David Barrett Hall from 2:30 pm until the time of service on Wednesday.
