Rose Ann Fuhrmann, age 95, passed away on Sunday December 3, 2023, in Shawano. Rose was born on April 8, 1928, in Hilbert, Wisconsin to the late Norbert and Leona (Schuler) Thomas. In 1946, in Appleton she was united in marriage to Wallace Fuhrmann. Wallace preceded Rose in death in 2009. Rose was a homemaker in the Appleton area for several years. She moved to the Town of Washington in Shawano County in 1977.

Rose is survived by her son, James "Jim" (Lori) Fuhrmann; three grandchildren, Jason (Mandi) Fuhrmann, Justin (Kayla) Spang and Kari Spang; and four great-grandchildren.

Rose is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace; daughter, Nancy Spang; grandson, Christopher Spang; parents, Norbert and Leona; and brother, David Thomas.

A graveside service for Rose will be held at 11:00 am on Monday December 11, 2023, at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton with Pastor Scott Ludford officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the American Cancer Society.
