Rose M. Paiser, age 86, of Shawano, WI, formerly of Gresham, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 25, 2020.  She was born in Shawano on June 4, 1934, daughter of the late Bernard and Kathryn (Marx) Schafberger. She graduated from Shawano high school and received her teaching certificate from the Antigo Teachers College. She taught school at Hermansfort and Gresham. On June 15, 1955 Rose was united in marriage to Richard "Dick" Paiser at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano. Dick preceded her in death on August 9, 2013. Rose and Dick lived in Gresham for all of their married life. She was a member of St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church in Gresham and was a member of the St. Ann Society. She loved bird watching and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, cooking, and baking.

Rose is survived by: her children, Cindy (Gary) Dalke of Gresham, Tom (Dawn) Paiser of Shawano, Gary (Lisa) Paiser of Bowler, and Terri (Jason) Laatsch of Shawano; her daughter-in-law Kristy Paiser of Gresham; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; her siblings Betty Anschutz of Sturgeon Bay, and Pat Fritz of Shawano; her brother-in-law Dan Perra of Green Bay. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her husband Dick, her son Tim, her parents, her sister Carol Perra, three brothers-in-law, and 2 nephews.

A funeral service for Rose will be held at St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church in Gresham on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at 11:00 am with Fr. Nonito Barra officiating. Burial will be held at the church cemetery following services. There will be no formal visitation prior to services. Masks and social distancing have been requested by the family.
