Rose Reaume, age 88, passed away in Neenah on Saturday, September 23, 2023.  Rose was born in Shawano on March 20, 1935, daughter of the late August and Gertrude (Goers) Meisner. Rose's mother's family has farmed near Gresham, Wisconsin for generations and the farm remains in the family name to this day after 160 years. Rose grew up in Shawano and attended St. James Lutheran School through 8th grade.  She graduated from Shawano High School in 1953 and went on to attend the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire where she earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics.  She attended the University of Michigan earning her master's degree in library science.  On May 7, 1960, Rose was united in marriage to Richard Reaume in Farmington, Michigan.  Richard and Rose lived and worked in Michigan, retiring in 1991.  In 2021 they moved to Shawano.

Rose is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Richard, as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Virginia Mears.
