Rosemary Ann Koeller, age 91, of Bonduel, passed away on Saturday May 2, 2026, in Shawano surrounded by her family. Rosemary was born on November 14, 1934, in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin to the late Joseph and Josephine Anna (Smits) Hohner. On January 2, 1954, she was united in marriage to Lloyd Koeller in Shawano. The couple spent a wonderful 72 years together before Lloyd’s passing on March 24, 2026. She worked at Montgomery Wards, The Patio, Lee’s, and Ponderosa before retiring. Rosemary was a member and was very active with the American Legion Auxiliary and State Offices 40&8. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano for many years.
Rosemary is survived by her children, Vince (Deb) Koeller, Sue (Paul) Hintz, Ellie Luebke, Patti (Carl) Maple, Deb (Russ) Becker and Doug (Deb) Koeller; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer (Shane) Mentzel, Corey Hintz, Amy Hintz, Heidi (David) Burris, Nichole Alfau, Anthony Luebke, Jeremy Peterson, Heather (Jeremy) Schultz, Ashley (Derek) Nueske and Mariah Davis; 18 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Rosemary is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Koeller; her great-granddaughter, Ciera; her brothers, Robert Hohner and Clarence Hohner; her sisters, JoAnn Smallwood and Kathy Sorenson; and parents, Jospeh and Josephine Hohner; her stepfather Leo Kort.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Swedberg funeral home Shawano. Visitation will be held at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano, on Friday from 9:30 am until the time of service. Burial will be held at Lake Drive Cemetery in the Town of Wescott following services.
