Roy L. McDaniel, Jr., age 79 of Kewaunee, formerly of Sturgeon Bay, died on May 4, 2024. Born on November 11, 1944, in Westin, West Virginia, he is the son of the late Roy Lee (Rosella) McDaniels, Sr.  In 1966, Roy was united in marriage to Gail Frances Couture, who preceded him in death on September 12, 2009.  Roy was a jack of all trades, self-taught in most things and a hard worker.  He could do anything he put his mind to.  He loved sharing his skills with his children, such as how to cook and change the oil in the truck.  In his early years, Roy worked as a truck driver, and later enjoyed his ten years of employment at the Disney World Polynesian Hotel as a chef.

Roy is survived by his children, Rhonda (Anthony) Sardello of Pueblo West, CO, Kenneth 'Ken' (significant other, Lillian) McDaniel of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Nicole (Billy) Panzer of Ft. Collins, CO, Stephaney Sardello of Denver, CO, Jeremy, Rosella and Bryan McDaniel of Denver; three great-grandchildren, Carson, Ava, Ella; and his sister-in-law, Valerie (Jonathan) Anderson of Benson, NC; four cousins, Jonathon, Ashley, Michael, and Geoffery.

He is preceded in death by his wife Gail and his parents.
