Russell "Russ" Jeffrey Beaster, age 70, passed away on Monday May 29, 2023, in Shawano. Russ was born May 14, 1953, to the late Arthur and Evelyn (Gorecki) Beaster in Milwaukee. He was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart, Jackie Krahn, August 12, 1972, in West Allis, WI. Russ was dedicated to his work while providing for his family. The long hours while working in the retail industry from Kohl's Foods to Sentry Foods to Builders Square to building his own home improvement business to his last working years at Home Depot and making lifelong memories and friends along the way. Russ enjoyed the simple life which led Jackie, his son Mike and himself to Shawano County nine years ago. He enjoyed the quiet, slow pace, and time in his shop building things and helping Mike fix just about anything. Russ had the ability to talk to anyone which is why he was so known and loved by many. He had the ability to tell you where you could find the best coffee and cake doughnuts around. Russ loved his baked goods, sweat treats and especially his chocolate chip cookies and Diet Pepsi.

Russ is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jackie; children, Jason (Melissa) Beaster, Jenny McFarlin, and Mike (Brittany Russell) Beaster; three grandchildren, Dominic, Leland, and Cheyanne; beloved sister-in-law Sheela; brother, Tom Beaster; sister, Sue Clement and nieces, Shelly Beaster and Sara Bahlert.

Russ is preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Greg, Scott, and Kurt.

A celebration of life for Russ is planned at the Wales Community Park 470 Brandybrook Road in Wales, WI 53183 at the Soccer Field Pavilion on Sunday July 30 starting at noon until 4:00 pm.
