Obituary
Ruth H. (Druckrey) Marohl, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 18, 2016, at the age of 91.
Ruth was born March 11, 1925, daughter of the late Walter and Alma (Krause) Druckrey in the Town of Green Valley. On September 26, 1942, she was united in marriage to Victor H. Marohl. They lived in Pulcifer from 1948 to 2009. After the passing of Victor in 2009, she moved to the Milwaukee area where she resided at Forest Ridge Senior Community, and recently Clement Manor Continuing Care. Ruth was a member of St John's Lutheran Church of Pulcifer and Faith United Lutheran Church of Gillett. She attended Resurrection Lutheran Church while living in Milwaukee. She was a member of the Ladies Aid, Lutheran Women Missionary League, Choir, Gillett Lions Club, and Gideons International. During her life, Ruth enjoyed dancing, travel, gardening, embroidery, playing cards, board games, crossword puzzles and especially being with her family.
Dear mother of daughter Diane Hanson and son-in-law Danny of Oconto Falls and Miami, FL and son Daniel and daughter-in-law Patricia (Ostrowski) of New Berlin, WI. Beloved grandmother to Britta Hanson of Miami, FL, Erika Hanson and husband, Terry Andrews of Madison, WI, Mark Marohl and Jennifer (Konz) of Madison, WI and Kari Marohl and fiancé Joshua Bartlett of Milwaukee, WI. She is further survived by three great-grandchildren, Ingo Horn, Nile and Bing Andrews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, Ed Druckrey and sister-in-law Evelyn, brother, Art Druckrey and sister-in-law Henrietta.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Faith United Lutheran Church, 11565 Old U Gillett, WI 54124 (920-855-6464) with Rev. John Laatsch officiating. Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Pulcifer. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday, August 27, 2016 from Noon until the time of the service. Memorials can be directed to Faith United Lutheran Church Ladies Aid.
