Ruth Russell, age 81 of Shawano, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023. She was born in California on October 23, 1941, to the late Albert and Elizabeth (Jones) Otto. Ruth was married to Julian Russell who preceded her in death in 1988. Ruth lived in the Ladysmith area for several years, before she moved to the Shawano area, which she called home for the past 20 years.

Ruth is survived by her brothers and sisters, Kenneth (Arlene) Otto of Cedar Rapids, IA, Craig (Helen) Otto of Fairfax, VA, Mary (Peter) Andersen of Preston CT, Albert (Gemma) Dawson of Denver, CO, and Pamela Hoe of WA.

She is preceded in death by her husband Julian, her parents and two sisters, Sharon and Diane.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Richland Center City Cemetery in Richland Center.
