RuthAnn Siolka, age 78, of Bonduel, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017 in Bonduel. Born in the Town of Maple Grove on January 15, 1939, she was the daughter of the late John and Alma (Rudie) Brusky.  On October 27, 1956 she was united in marriage to Alfred L. Siolka at the St. Mary Catholic Church in Pulaski.  Alfred preceded her in death on December 27, 2013.  RuthAnn worked alongside her husband and family on the family farm.  She also worked at Festival Foods, Pick-N-Save and finished her career as a meal site manager for Shawano County Social Services.  Al and RuthAnn enjoyed polka dancing and were a joy to watch.  She was a faithful member at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Krakow, where she taught catechism, sang in the choir and was instrumental in organizing the Christmas Eve processional as well as sewing the cassocks that the children are still using today.  RuthAnn enjoyed sewing, knitting, quilting and gardening.  She was an excellent cook, known for her famous sugar doughnuts, apple pies and lefse.  Above all, RuthAnn's greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, attending as many events as she could.
RuthAnn is survived by: 5 children, Cherie (Tim) Schultz of Shawano, Mick Siolka of Shawano, Chuck (Marcy) Siolka of Bonduel, Julie (Doug) Harland of Bonduel, Scott (Justine Krause) Siolka of Bonduel; 19 grandchildren, Jess, Ben, Liz, Madeline, Olivia, Lindsay, Cody, Chris, Dylan, Garrett, Cathryn, Brad, Nick, Katie, Cami, Austin, Carter, Jackson, Gabi; and great-grandchildren, Hazel, Xander, Maevagrace, Owen, Ella, Harper, Grady, Archer, Kalli, Gus, Max, Audrey and Nora.  She is further survived by:  2 sisters, Janet (Bob) Nuss of Green Bay and Lynn (Larry) Stabler of Green Bay; and former daughter-in-law, Terri Brown.
She was preceded in death by her husband Al, her parents and her brother, Allen.
Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Krakow with Father Patrick Gawrylewski, OFM presiding and Father Jim Esser, OFM co-celebrating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held at Swedberg Wendt Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 – 8:00 pm and again on Saturday at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the service.  A wake service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 7:30 pm.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff at Meadow View in Bonduel and ThedaCare Hospice for their care and compassion.
