Samuel "Sam" Alan Peters, Sr., age 38, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. Sam was born in Antigo on April 18, 1983, to Wayne Peters and Deann Slater. Sam was a self-employed heating and cooling technician. He was an extremely smart man who could fix just about anything. He was always happy to help others and he loved his children.

He is survived by his children: Sarrena (Fiancée Josh) Peters, Samuel Peters, Jr., Skye Peters, Spirit Peters, and Safira Peters, a granddaughter, Brynlee Hill, his parents; Wayne Peters and Deann Slater, sisters; Erin (Leonard) Peters, and Carly (Ben) Stevens, his maternal grandmother, Bonnie Slater, and a special friend, Stacy Nahquaddy. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by grandparents: Leslie "Les" Slater, Sr., Ruth Peters and Calvin "Sam" Peters.

Services are being planned for the spring.
