Samuel "Sam", "Sam-o", "Chancho" Peterson, age 20, of Shawano, went to the Lord on August 4, 2016. He was the first born son to the overjoyed Douglas and Pebbles Peterson on July 9, 1996.  Samuel lived his life with heartfelt abandon.  His spirited nature sparkled through his infectious smile and his family and friends adore him immensely.  With a congenial soul, Samuel was a peace maker with a generous spirit and always spoke kindly of others.  He was a phenomenal big brother to his sister, Mazie, protective and affectionate; her first and forever best friend.  He was a great companion to his dog, Doodle, who worshiped him.  Samuel was and always will be a treasure to his mom, dad, sister, and all who loved him.  The loss of this most loved will be felt "forever".

Survivors include: his parents, Doug and Pebbles Peterson; his sister, Mazie Peterson; his grandparents, Clarence and Mary Prichard; his uncles, aunts, and cousins, Jim and Jan McKenzie, and their children, Carla, Anna, Patty, Sandra, and Stephen, Jeff and Mariann Ahonen, and their daughter, Bethany, Roger and Debbie Muskett, and their children, Michael, Douglas, and Angie, Kim and Barbara Young, and their son Gavin, John and Lynette Prichard, and their children, Ashley (Zach), Aimee, Adam, and Aaron, Debby Prichard-Stuebs and Gary Bartz, and her children, Adina (Christian and Nolan) and Cole, Tom and Lorraine Prichard and their children, Tom and Travis, and Terry and Sherrie Presler and their children; as well as all his dear friends.

He was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Harold and Patricia Peterson, his great-grandmother, Loretta Auer-Starker, and cousin, Christina Ahonen.
