IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sandra
Shaurette
November 24, 1939 – May 25, 2024
Sandra Mae Shaurette, age 84, of Bowler, WI, sadly passed away in the comfort of her home and received her angel wings on Saturday, May 25, 2024, while surrounded by her family and friends. She, however, stubbornly waited until she got all the hugs and kisses she wanted before leaving us. Sandra was born on November 24, 1939, to John Gordon Shaurette and Francis T. Scott in Stevens Point, WI. Sandra loved cooking, shopping, dancing, and most of all her family. She also embraced the Stockbridge- Munsee community as part of her family. This was where she called home since she was 17 years of age. She had blessed many, many people with her presence both far and near. Sandra had many jobs throughout her lifetime. The job(s) she enjoyed the most was the job of being a Mama, Nana, Grandma, Auntie, and Sister. Sandra would give you her last penny if any person would be in need of it. Throughout her lifetime, Sandra made sure that whoever might need food, shelter, clothing, a hug, conversation, or anything else…Sandra would make sure you had it. She loved cooking and her cooking could heal you from the inside out, with a big smile when done. Sandra will be truly and astronomically missed by her family, friends, and community.
Sandra is survived by: her four daughters, Shellie (Leon) Samuel, Debbie (Loren) Lathen, Sandra (Scott) Stevens, and Clorissa (Bob) Vele; grandchildren Melissa (Adam) Champion, Nathaniel, (Fala) Hameed, Brandon (Tara) Barragan, Alicia (Jamie) Goines, Loren (Sarah) Lathen, Scott (Rosemary) Lathen, Simone (Mark) Doxtater, Joshua (Elisa) Curry, John (Berta) Tepiew, Hezakiah Miller, Brett (Arcelie) Miller, Robert (Tanya) Miller, Todd Miller, and numerous Grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces nephews, and those she had throughout her lifetime.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, two sons, two great-grandchildren and 11 siblings.
