Sarah M. Wahsquonaikezhik, age 35 of Keshena, died on December 6, 2017. She was born in Milwaukee on December 1, 1982. In 2014, Sarah was united in marriage to Shawahossoway Wahsquonaikezhik, who preceded her in death on November 21, 2015. Sarah enjoyed reading, watching movies, listening to music and loved her daughters more than anything.
Sarah is survived by her daughters, Serenity Barnes and Alicia Leonard; her mother, Jacqui (Rollan) Caldwell of Middle Village; her aunt and adoptive mother, Patti (Tony) Hildebrand; her adoptive father, James Vahling; her sister, Whitney Stanford; adoptive sister, Alyson (Matt) Owens; step-brothers, Rollan Caldwell III and Aaron Caldwell. She is further survived by her maternal grandmother, Irene Waubanascum; aunts and uncles, Tony (Carrie) Groll, Amy (Phil) Domagalski; nieces and nephews, Savannah, Braidon and Rollan IV; along with numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Shawahossoway and her aunt, Kari Fernandez.
Private family services will be held.
