Obituary

Savanna Mae Christenson-Wilber, age 27 of Shawano, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at her home. Savanna was born in San Bernardino, California on January 4, 1991, the daughter of Wydell Kallies and Denelle Christenson. She lived most of her life in the Shawano area. On May 25, 2018, Savanna was united in marriage to Duane Wilber. Savanna was the supervisor of the Menominee Casino Hotel and enjoyed beadwork and cooking. She loved nothing more than being home with her love and being a mother to her 2 year old daughter.

Savanna is survived by: her husband, Duane; her daughter, Rozaleah; her parents, Wydell Kallies and Denelle (Kenneth Martin) Christenson both of Keshena; her siblings, John Christenson of Keshena, Jesse Kallies of Keshena and Alexandria Kallies of Illinois. She is further survived by her grandmother Elizabeth Grignon; grandfather, Curtis Kallies; mother-in-law, Joleen Tomow; uncles, Veron High and Ira Harrison; auntie, Lillian (Joseph Kakwitch) Harrison; cousins, Angel Tomow, Elizabeth Harrison, David Harrison and Joseph Kakwitch.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Stan Grignon and great-grandmother Madelyn Kohel.

Funeral services for Savanna will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Fr. Nonito Barra officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm and again Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of the service.
