Shamara Joy Pamonicutt, age 27, of Keshena, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 17, 2017, in Keshena. Born on August 8, 1990 in Shawano, she is the daughter of Merle Samuel Pamonicutt, Jr. and Melody Johnson. Shamara worked as a food and beverage server at the casino. She enjoyed art, especially drawing and listening to music. She also liked going to the woods with her dad for Ginseng. More than anything, Shamara loved spending time with her three boys, her parents and the rest of her family.
Shamara is survived by: her three sons, Darwin Sechrist, Kasewatossa Sechrist and Cody Cook, Jr.; her parents, Merle Pamonicutt, Jr. and Melody Johnson of Keshena; her siblings, Stephen Heath II, Samantha Pamonicutt, Brian Pamonicutt, Bryan Pamonicutt, Stephanie Peters, April Waupoose, Kristy Sanapaw, Sammie Jo Pamonicutt and Merle (Tristen) Pamonicutt III; two step-brothers, Joseph Kakwitch and Daniel Webster, Jr. She is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Keshena with Fr. Joel Jores officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Pamonicutt residence at W2858 Morrin Street in Keshena from 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 until the procession leaves for the church on Thursday.
