"Peggy" Dodge-Bond
March 13, 1947 – May 4, 2024
Sharon "Peggy" Dodge-Bond of DePere, age 77, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024, in DePere, Wisconsin. Peggy was born in Keshena on March 13, 1947, daughter of the late Robert "Sonnyman" and Bertina Dodge. Peggy was proudly born and raised on the Menominee Indian Reservation in Neopit, Wisconsin. On July 19, 2001, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Bond in Las Vegas, Nevada and enjoyed 13 years together before his death on May 18, 2014. Peggy graduated Shawano High School in 1965 and attended Northcentral Technical College in Antigo. She obtained her Realtor License for the Oneida Nation Land Management Department and was an Administrative Assistant for the Menominee Indian School District for 24 years. Peggy was a proud member of Oneida Nation of Wisconsin and descendant of the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin. Peggy was known for her exceptional storytelling, and she enjoyed the special bond she had with her sister Bernadine. She loved watching The Young and the Restless, the Chicago Cubs and enjoyed every second she got to spend with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Peggy is survived by: her children Bobbi Dodge, Serena Hernandez, Todd (Valerie) Otradovec Sr., and Jennifer (Jeremiah) Moses. Grandchildren; Chelsea, Mathias, Meshan, Elyshia, River, Todd Jr., Jeremiah Jr., Jericho, and Joshua. She is further survived by 8 great-grandchildren, sisters Sandra Fulwilder, Cheryl Dodge, Luanne Waubanascum, Paula Howard; brothers Gary Dodge Sr., Preston Dodge and Duane Waubanascum.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters Bernadine Vigue, Glenda Waubanascum, Patricia Tucker, Sylvia Dodge, and Roberta "Bobbi" Lynn Dodge; 2 grandchildren Erinn and Victor Jr. and 1 great-grandchild.
A funeral service for Peggy will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, May 9 , 2024, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit with Fr. Hanz Christian officiating. Visitation will be held at the Neopit Community Center beginning at 5pm, on Tuesday May 7th and continuing until the time of the service on Thursday.
The family would like to give a special 'Thank You!' to the Nursing staff at Caraton Commons and Moments Hospice.
