Obituary

Sharon Kay Thorne, age 66, of Shawano, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, November 2, 2017 in Shawano. Born on May 11, 1951 in Neenah, Sharon is the daughter of the late Lyle and Marian (Arndt) Rosenow. Sharon graduated from Shawano High School in 1969. She worked in the lunch room at the high school for many years. Sharon enjoyed crocheting, playing games and playing cards, reading and scrapbooking. She especially loved to shop with her girls and attend her grandchildren's many events.

Sharon is survived by: her four children, Heidi (Clint) Parsons of Green Bay, Jamie (Steve) Farwell of Shiocton, Chad (Tracy) Thorne of Gresham and Joshua (Kristin) Thorne of Green Bay and her grandchildren, Hunter, Kaitlyn and Megan Parsons, Kyle Farwell and Brayden Thorne.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Curtis Rosenow and two sisters in infancy.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 6, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Shawano. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 9:00 am until the time of the service.
