Obituary

Sheila Koons, age 72, of Wausaukee, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018 in Shawano. Sheila is the daughter of George and the late Joyce (Bird) Koons.  Sheila graduated from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay and taught second grade in Wausaukee for many years.  In her free time she loved to read and follow politics.
Sheila is survived by her father, George Koons of Shawano and a cousin Doris Fetterholf of Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce and her sister, Linda Porter.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano. Inurnment will be in Woodlawn cemetery in Shawano.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00am until the time of the service.
