Sherry R. McCowan, age 77, of Bowler passed away on Monday February 24, 2025, in Shawano. Sherry was born on June 2, 1947, in Royalton, Wisconsin to the late Hilda (Miller) Little. She enjoyed shopping trips, playing bingo and going to the casino. Sherry was known for her beautiful turquoise jewelry.

Sherry is survived by her daughters, Nichole (Aaron) Hensgen and Tammy (Justin) Zelinski; grandson, Tyler Schaefer; and sisters, Karen Wynveen and Suzanne Hill. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Sherry is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters and her mother.

A memorial service for Sherry will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday March 1, 2025, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Gresham with Rev. Paul Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:30 pm until the time of service. Inurnment will be held in the spring at Red Spring Cemetery.
