Shirley Kay Greely, age 80, passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021, in Shawano. She was born on May 9, 1941, to the late George and Virginia (Harney) Robinette in Anderson, Indiana. Shirley was united in marriage with Daniel L. "Dan" Greely on February 8, 1982, in Waynesville, Missouri. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and fishing. Shirley loved all animals, watching the birds and squirrels, and taking in strays. She enjoyed hunting for bargains at yard sales and thrift stores. Shirley had a passion for driving and enjoyed traveling, family adventures, and racing her brother's cars. More than anything, Shirley loved her grandchildren who were everything to her.
She is survived by her husband, Dan, children: Adam (Maria Tomow) Greely, Pamela (fiancée Jorge Reyes) Barnes, Cynthia Bradshaw, and Shelly Jensen, grandchildren: Jordan, Samantha, Vanessa, Natalee, Robert, Roxanne, Jamie, Gabriel, Amanda, Kahyleaha, and Michael, and a brother, Kenneth Wayne (Leah) Robinette.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Tommy, brothers, Jimmy Joe Robinette, and Floyd Robinette.
A memorial gathering for Shirley will be held from Noon until 3:00 pm on Sunday, January 2, 2022, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano.
The family would appreciate live plants over cut flowers for the gathering and request casual attire.
