Shirley Ann Kalkofen, age 85 of Cecil, passed away on August 15, 2020 surrounded by her loved ones. Shirley was born on July 8, 1935 to the late Emil and Ethel (Butt) Reinke. On July 21, 1956, Shirley was united in marriage to the love of her life James L. Kalkofen in Shawano. After 40 years of marriage James preceded Shirley in death on June 15, 1997. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family.  Loved her home on Shawano Lake and was an avid Packer fan.

Shirley is survived by her sons, Lee Kalkofen, Sr., Scott (Linda) Kalkofen, Steve (Kathy) Kalkofen, and Stuart Kalkofen; grandchildren, Lee Kalkofen, Jr., Kyle Kalkofen, Kelly (Jack) Perisin, Megan Kalkofen, Jessica Kalkofen, James Kalkofen, and Amanda Kalkofen; and great-granddaughter, Brianna; she is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sister, Carol (Dale) Hoppe.

A funeral service for Shirley will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Swedberg Funeral Home – Shawano, with Rev. Lew Worthington officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 10:00 am until the time of services at the funeral home.
