Shirley Rose Timm, age 83, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023, surrounded by family. Shirley was born on July 23, 1940, in Bowler to the late Henry and Ora (Huntington) Jones. On November 3, 1961, she was united in marriage to Daniel Timm. Daniel preceded Shirley in 2010. She owned and operated the Wagon Wheel Bar in Clintonville before buying and owning her own bar called the Soo Line Tavern in Shawano. Shirley ran the tavern for her entire life before passing it down to her family. She was dedicated to the tavern and was hard-working. Shirley enjoyed fishing and was a talented bowler. She loved her garden, family outings, and the 4th of July was a very special family get together. Shirley will be dearly missed.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Tammy Burris; grandson, Neal (significant other, Alisha Carstens) Geurts; great-grandson, Nash Charles Geurts; sister, Sharon Anderson; and sister-in-law, Mary Framnes; She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel; son-in-law, Michael Burris; siblings, Russel (Lee) Jones, Howard (Janice) Jones, Eugen (May) Jones, Earl (Elaine) Jones, Wesley (Florence) Jones, Marge (Bob) Thorne, Eva (Donald) Wudtke, Sheila (Robert) DeMarb and two infant brothers.

A memorial service for Shirley will be held at 11:00 am on Monday September 11, 2023, at River Valley Church in Shawano with Rev. Marc Kelliher officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday starting at 10:00 am until the time of service. Inurnment will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano following services.
