Stephanie A. Becker, age 59 of Shawano, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013 in Appleton, WI. Born on August 31, 1953 in North Dakota, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Carol (Hustad) Becker. She grew up with her family in Des Lacs, ND and graduated from Des Lacs High School in 1971. She also lived in Glenwood Springs, CO. On February 4, 1989 she was united in marriage to Neil Van Rossum in Green Bay. Stephanie had a love of nature and a love of animals, including horses, birds and her cats. She also enjoyed flower gardening, hiking and sightseeing. Stephanie is survived by: her husband, Neil; 2 brothers, Jerry (Phyllis) Becker and Michael Becker; and her nephew, Danny Sauvageau. Stephanie was preceded in death by: her parents; and a sister, Kay Sauvageau. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
