IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Stephen Anthony
Crow
June 17, 1986 – December 23, 2023
Stephen Anthony Crow, age 37, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday December 23, 2023, in Middle Village. Stephen was born on June 17, 1986, in Shawano to Curtis and Virginia (Caldwell) Crow, Jr. He graduated from Menominee High School. Stephen was a talented freelance artist; you could find murals and artwork in several tribal buildings and in private homes. Art was in his blood, skin and on paper it's what kept him grounded. He was an athletic person, a joking and kidding around kind of guy, loved to cook and held many positions as a chef. Stephen's favorite holiday was Halloween, he was a creative type of person which helped him win a few contests. He cared so much about other people and his heart was so caring for all he knew. Stephen's world was his children, he was an amazing father to them. He had a clear sense of his family's safety, as well as his friends. Stephen will be truly missed by everyone that knew him.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Courtney Crow; children, Nahtek, Antoinette, Jordan, Teagan, Raven, Meleena, Quincy and Ezekiel; parents, Curtis, Jr. and Virginia; siblings, Roselee Desjairlait, Fawn Teller, Darrell (Jamie) Crow, Dyan Crow, Megan Crow, Delaina (Ronnie) Escalante and Rito (Becky) Escalante III; aunts, Carmen Crow, Carol (Joe) Redkettle, Elmira (Leroy) Waubano, Mary Caldwell, Janice (Bernie) Smith, Karen (Skully) Madosh and Kerry (Jeff) Wilber; uncles, Joseph (Mimi) Caldwell, Rollan (Jacqui) Caldwell, Wendell Crow and Chester Wayka. He is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Wisconsin and Michigan.
Stephen is preceded in death by his brother, Curtis Desjairlait; aunts, Mary Lu Crow and Susan Tucker; uncle, Stephen Crow; paternal grandparents, Curtis and Mary Jane Crow, Sr.; and maternal grandparents, Rollan and Caroline Caldwell, Sr.
