Obituary
Stephen Stanley Sherman, age 75, of Menasha, died on Saturday, February 17, 2018 in Appleton. Born on October 7, 1942 in Illinois, he is the son of the late Foy J. and Lois K. (Fetrow) Sherman. Stephen served our country for 6 years in the Marines. He was united in marriage to Sharon (Welak) Biertzer on June 2, 2001 in Montello. She preceded him in death on March 11, 2016.
Stephen is survived by: three children, Troy (Michele) Sherman of Gillett, Jody (Art) Ward of Gresham and Tanya Sherman of Shawano; two step-children, Brian (Joan) Biertzer and Deborah (Scott) Parson; grandchildren, Marissa (Curtis), Taylor (Erik), Meagan, Kayla, Courtney, Averi, Abigail, Josh (Nicole), Eric (Daniela), Aleah, Shayna, Dalton and Karli; seven great-grandchildren; his brother-in-law, John (Gertrude) Welak; as well as nieces, nephews, and very dear neighbors and friends, Norm and Millie and Mike and Carrie.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Sharon; his parents; and his sister, Aletha "Lisa" Zimmerman.
Private family services will be held.
