Obituary

Steven Schwerin, age 51, of Cecil, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in Green Bay. Born on May 13, 1966 in Cedarburg, WI, he is the son of Karen (Berndt) Schwerin and the late Don A. Schwerin.  In 1984, he graduated from D.C. Everest High School in Schofield, served four years in the United States Marines and then earned an associate's degree in Avionics at Fox Valley Technical College.  On June 14, 1997, Steven was united in marriage to Dede Ausloos in Weston.  In 1998, the couple moved to Cecil.  Steven is a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel and enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, watching sports, spending time with friends and family and going to the cabin.
Steven is survived by: his wife, Dede; son, Reid; his mother, Karen Schwerin of Kronenwetter; and three brothers, Chad ("Mik") Schwerin, Scott Schwerin and Craig (Cory) Schwerin.
He was preceded in death by his father, Don Schwerin.
Funeral services for Steven will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel with Rev. Timothy Shoup officiating. Military honors will be conducted by Bonduel American Legion Post #217. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.
