Steven Michael Tews, age 67, of Shawano, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Steven was born on March 18, 1952, to the late William and Martha (Rosenow) Tews. He was a graduate of Marion High School. Throughout his career he was employed by Clintonville Lumber and Supply, Shawano Paper Mill, Appleton Lathing Corporation, and Wisconsin Film and Bag.

Steven is survived by: his daughters, Tracy (Clint) Hess and Jenny (Chris) Nachtwey; his grandchildren, Hailey Smith, Harper and Crew Hess, Kaden and Koner Persha; his step-grandchildren, Mikayla and Mason Nachtwey, and Keyannah Bartz; his brothers, Dan (Mary) Tews and Tom Tews; and his special friend, Gerryann Taylor; and is further survived by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jayni in 2005, and his parents, William and Martha.

A memorial gathering will be held for Steven from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm, on Saturday, October 26, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano. A Celebration of Life will follow beginning at 2:00 pm at Star Camp Ground in Bowler.
