Susan A. (Hangartner) Pahlow, age 73 of Shawano, passed away in her sleep at home on Saturday, March 11, 2023 with her loving husband, Richard by her side. She was born on December 18, 1949, to the late Elmer and Beulah (Bartlett) Hangartner. Susan began her high school education in Bonduel and graduated from Bowler High School. She married Richard Pahlow on April 20, 1968, at Peace United Church of Christ in Shawano. In her youth, Sue was an avid roller-skater, and often skated at the Shawano County Park, as well as a cheerleader, and an excellent bowler. She loved horseback riding, along with tooling around Bonduel on her scooter.

Sue is survived by her husband, Richard of 55 years; three daughters, Angela Franz of Walnut Creek, CA, twins, Shari Leeman of Oneida, WI and Lisa (Bill) Martin of Shawano; three grandchildren, Madison Martin, and Kiona and Nathan Leeman; and five siblings, Judy, Bev, Brenda, Bonnie, and Gene. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, mothers and fathers-in-law, two sons-in-law, James Franz and Paul Leeman, and numerous other relatives.

In accordance with Susan's wishes, no services will be held.
