Susan Elda Anderson, age 80, passed away on Tuesday August 19, 2025, in Shawano. Susan was born on November 12, 1944, in Steubenville, Ohio to the late Marshall and Elda (Mielke) Peterson. She graduated from Shawano High School in 1962. On June 2, 1964, Susan was united in marriage to Jim Anderson in Nashua, New Hampshire. The couple spent a wonderful 39 years together before Jim's passing in 2003. Susan was a dedicated member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Lunds and Zion Lutheran Church in Shawano and enjoyed crocheting prayer shawls. Susan held offices on the church council, sung in the church choir and was also the former president of Home Community and Education in Shawano County. She was an outgoing person who loved meeting new people and was a jack of all trades, there was nothing she couldn't do.

Susan is survived by her son, Eric (Dawn) Anderson; six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Jayne Anderson of Bonduel.

Susan is preceded in death of her husband Jim Anderson; son, Jim Anderson; and parents, Marshall and Elda.

In accordance with Susan's wishes no services will be held.
