Susan Kay Buckett, age 61 of Leopolis, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011 in Neenah. Born on September 5, 1949 in Antigo, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Georgian (Krause) Resch. On February 3, 1979 she was united in marriage to John Buckett in East Troy. After marriage, Susan worked for the Unites States Postal Service. She was a loving wife and a caring mother who loved her family dearly. She was also a kind person and easily made friends with everyone she met. Her favorite pastime was to paint nature scenes and she also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and Sudoku puzzles. Susan is survived by: her husband, John; son, Sam (Amy Gammon) Buckett of FL; daughter, Sally (Thomas Egan) Buckett of Pella; 4 sisters, Cindy (Paul) Kissinger of Neenah, Vicki (Mike) Preboski of Merrill, Ann (Tom) Anderson of White Lake, Laura (Dan) Hoffmeister of Antigo; 2 brothers, Pat (Jeanne) Resch of CO, Mike (Mary ) Resch of Plover; a special nephew, Clifford (Darlene) Peterson of Marion; 2 sisters-in-law; special friends, Gary and Cindy Wenzel of Wausau; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A visitation will be held at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 from 4-8pm.
