Teresa Joy Brandt, age 61, passed away in her home on Sunday, June 26, 2022, in Cecil. She was born on January 26, 1961, to the late Henry and Marilyn (Frankard) Brandt in the Town of Pleasant Valley, Iowa. Teresa was united in marriage to Charles Alexander Sheppard on March 18, 2021. She loved art, writing, and music. Teresa loved her husband and pets and enjoyed spending time with them.

She is survived by her husband, Charles; brothers, James and Timothy Brandt; mother-in-law, Leone Schneidewend and sister-in-law, Melissa Schneidewend. Teresa is further survived by her beloved pets, Lugg Nutz (dog) and Rudy (cat).

Teresa is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Frank Brandt.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
