Terrance “Terry” James Fusek, Sr., beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at the age of 79 on Friday, May 8th, 2026.

Terry was born August 23, 1946, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to John and Esther (nee Maehl) Fusek. He was raised in Milwaukee along with his siblings, the late Eunice (the late Charles) Herwig, Michael Fusek, Barbara Dority, the late Kathleen (the late Wayne) Mattice, Robert (the late Jean) Fusek, and Richard (Kathy) Fusek.

He met his future wife, Karen, in 1960 through a mutual friend. They were married December 4, 1976. They were blessed with two children, Jennifer Rose (James) Lenz and Terrance James “TJ” (Claire) Fusek. Karen and Terry lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin until their retirement in 2011. At that time, they moved to Gresham, Wisconsin where they currently reside.

When they first married, Terry worked at Auto Parts and Service in Milwaukee. He later took a job at Kohl's Distribution Center in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. He was known to be a caring and generous co-worker who often went out of his way to help others.

Terry was particularly proud of his grandchildren, Tyler Henry Summers, Joshua James Lenz, Zachary Thomas Lenz, Izabella Rose Fusek, and Gabriel James Fusek. He always enjoyed their visits and the wonderful memories they added to his life. Terry's greatest joy was time spent with family, especially when we could all be together sharing stories, playing dominoes, preparing food, eating and listening to good music. He cherished the good times and always looked forward to the next visit.

A memorial service for Terry will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Scott Ludford officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday, from 9:30 am until the time of the service.
