Theodore "Dooper" Miller, Jr., age 68, of Keshena, passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021 surrounded by his loved ones. Theodore was born on June 24, 1952 in Keshena to the late Theodore and Lorraine (Turney) Miller, Sr. He graduated from Shawano High School. After high school, he worked in construction and attended police training. Dooper worked for the Menominee Tribal Police. He became a certified scuba diver when he was a police officer. He returned to road construction. He enjoyed making maple syrup, picking ginseng, hunting and fishing. Most of all, Dooper enjoyed spending time with his family, especially loved the time with his grandchildren.
Dooper is survived by; his children, Theodore (Ellie) Miller, III, Bethany (Dugan) Miller, Shari (Kyle) Kakwitch and Kathy (Shawn) Pamonicutt; step daughter, LuAnn (Craig) Richmond; grandchildren, Cordelain, Theodore IV, Louis, Aiden, Derrick, Dugan, Jr., Destiny, Dacey, Michael, Jr., Melvin, Morgun, Maliyah, Mariah, Shayleece, Sonny, Alicia, Danica, Keenan, Vance and Evan; great-grandchildren, Jenadi, Michael, III., Michaela, Nevaeh, Melvin, Jr., Carter, MaKaio and Kendall; his siblings, Rae (Timothy) Gatz, Rosalyn (Randall) Katchenago, Laurie (William) Waupoose, Marjorie Miller and Rebecca Robertson. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by; his parents, Theodore Sr., and Lorraine; siblings, Glen, Kenneth, Jeffrey, Glenda and twin siblings in infancy, Matthew and Cheryl and grandchild, Kyle.
A funeral service for Dooper will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at St. Micheal's Catholic Church in Keshena with Fr. Nonito Barra officiating. Visitation will be held at N473 Chief Souligney road, Keshena, on Monday May 10, 2021 from 2:00 pm until procession leaves for church, on Wednesday, May 12, 2021.
