Obituary

Theona June Pyawasit, age 58, of Keshena passed away on October 21, 2016 in Green Bay. Theona was born in Shawano on June 30, 1958, daughter of the late Samuel and Eleanor (Nahwahquaw) Pyawasit, Jr.  She was a fan of the Green Bay Packers and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Theona is survived by: six children, Jason (Tuesday) Pyawasit of Keshena, Damona (Kyle Thunder) Pyawasit of Zoar, NaHanaysa (Joe Fish) Pamonicutt of Shawano, Daniel (Misty Wayka) Wayka, Jr. of Keshena, Fawn (Stephen Crowe, Jr.) Pyawasit of Keshena, and Fern (Allen Wier) Pyawasit of Shawano; grandchildren, Baby Jason, Armani, Tyson, Keaton, Antonio, Dylan, Leeahna, A'quinnah, Daquinna, Sosaeh, RJ, Gage, Gracie, Glory, Evey, Taliegha, Hayden, Ta'Naya, special grandchildren Tenoa and Gabriella; and great grandchildren, Leonard "Leo" and Amaya.  She is further survived by: special friend, Curtis Wayka, Sr. of Keshena; siblings, Lawrence (Linda) Pyawasit of Zoar, Barbara (Myron) Wayka, Sr. of Neopit, and Roberta (Louis) Escalante of Iowa; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a son Joseph Pyawasit, her parents, and siblings, Patrick, Myrtle, Adeline, and Renita.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, October, 24, 2016 at the Pyawasit residence located at W2676 Chief Josette Rd. in Keshena. Burial will be in the Zoar Burial Grounds. Visitation will be held at the residence beginning on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 5:00pm until the time of the service on Monday.
