Thomas H. Bente, age 73, of Shawano, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017. Born in Milwaukee on July 5, 1944, he is the son of the late Henry and Helen (Klemens) Bente.  On March 16, 1973, Thomas was united in marriage to Judith Gendron in Milwaukee.  He worked for AO Smith as an overhead crane operator for many years and after retiring, moved to the Shawano area. Tom and Judy vacationed in the Dominican Republic every year.  He enjoyed the outdoors, working in his yard, riding his motorcycle and watching the Packers and the Brewers.

Thomas is survived by: his loving wife, Judith; two children, Monica (Jeff) Cammack of Richfield and Paul (Bonnie) Hare of Oconomowoc; grandchildren, Lexi (Justin) Andrews, Rachel Cammack, Natalie (Mike) Medrano and Daniel Buretta; and one brother, Ken Bente of Shawano.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Maxine Bente.

Private family services are being planned for a later date.
