Thomas W. DeRoo, Sr., age 53 of Shawano, died on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at his home. Tom was born in Superior, WI on July 4, 1961 to Dolores (Burnett) DeRoo-Kelley and the late Archie DeRoo. He has lived in the Shawano area the past 20 years and enjoyed golfing. Thomas is survived by his 5 children, Thomas Jr., Holly, James, Ashley and Jessica, his mother and step-father, Dolores DeRoo-Kelley and David Kelley, his brother, Daniel DeRoo and his sister Katherine Eastman. Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Archie and his brother Scott. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano.
