Thomas Goodreau, age 61, of Shawano, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2020. Thomas was born on July 30, 1958, to the late John and Lorraine (Scholar) Goodreau in Menominee Falls. Thomas moved to the Shawano area in 1964 with his parents. He worked at Schmidt Lumber for over 18 years retiring in 2004. Thomas enjoyed playing cribbage, fishing, camping, golfing and watching television shows such as Counting Cars, American Pickers, The 3 Stooges, and westerns. Thomas was known for his love of Sundrop and he would often be found with a bottle in hand. He loved his family dearly and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Thomas is survived by: his life partner of 34 years, Crystal Dey; his children, Jesse (Candy) Goodreau of Gillett, Brian (Jessica) Goodreau of Shawano; he raised his step daughter, Patricia (Steven)Preskitt; he raised his step-granddaughter, Alisha (Jake) Wollenberg; he raised his step son, Chris (Morgan) Heatley; his grandchildren, Blake, Pierson, Parker, Brianna, and Bryce; his step grandchildren, Angela, Ben, Kallie, Tyler, Brooklien, Amiyah, Jayden, and Milani; his step-great granddaughter, Isabella Wollenberg; his sisters, Kathy (Tim) Gast, Sr. of Shawano and Carol Walter of Shawano; his brother, John (LaVern) Goodreau of Shawano; his half sister and brothers, Sharon (Paul) Tietila, Dennis (Julie) Kyllonen, and Bob (Beth) Rouho. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; his brother, William; and his sister, Judy.

A family funeral service will be held for Thomas at 11:00 am, on Saturday, May 9, 2020, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Rev. Mark Kelliher officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family requests that no flowers be sent.
